“africans don’t want us”
did I seriously just read that?
seriously?
wow.
fucking can’t with this ‘discussion’ anymore.
any issue that concerns black people in some way must always be dominated by and catered to the feelings of African-Americans.
african feels and opinions are irrelevant and can never be complex.
our issues are secondary.
as with everything else, africans must accept what others dictate over us.
got it.
(And this is why I say the attitude is very Western)

“She was rare, a perfect creation, a work of purest art. A delicate flower that bloomed in the liquid light of the moon. A nature not of this world, a personality like that of some biblical maiden, gracious and queenly.”
—Ralph Ellison, “Invisible Man” (via pluiefine)
I'll ask you something and you can ask me something. Um, what song were you talking about in that last post?
Its a song by one of my family’s tribes, the Ewe people. I’ll message it to you if you want to listen to it.
People don't really ask me questions. They message me about stuff. I ask questions.
You know how you can listen to a song a million times and hear something that you didn't hear before?
I just listened to one of my favorite songs and realized how off one of the background singers is. Now I can’t tune it out and its annoying.
